Honey and Poppy, who have been using the
Big Squirt Box for a few months now and it has
outside but I have a patio rather than a garden
had been for a wee, the patio smelled horrible!
Your little box was exactly the solution I was
looking for and it did not take long at all for the
puppies to get the hang of using it. I used the
training spray on the grass pad (which
definitely helped), lead them to the box when I
knew that they needed to go and gave the
same command as I usually did when I wanted
them to go to the toilet followed by "in your the
box they were both soon experts! They now
use it brilliantly and they wait at the door when
they need to go out, then trot straight over and
into the box (sometimes they even get to the
box together and go at the same time! If the
weather is dry I use a puppy pad under the
grass which is a quick and easy change, and
when it's rainy I just use the grass pad and I
can tip the contents of the box away. The box
itself is easy to clean and my patio is now
smell-free! It has been so successful that my
daughter has now bought me one that the
puppies are using on the patio at her house, as
they spend time there too. Well done for
coming up with such a brilliant solution for
people who have a dog, but not a grassy
garden.
